00:00 31 AUGUST 2005 US - I am so choked up
about the catastrophe following Hurricane Katrina. I could
barely talk to my wife without choking up when I said that
the Louisiana National Guard has a brigade of Soldiers in
Iraq, some of whom have no home to come home to and are
undoubtedly distraught about the safety of the families
they left behind. I can only imagine the anguish they must
be feeling, the sense of helplessness..Jack.

21:30 19 AUGUST 2005 Tikrit - A couple of
days ago I was talking to 2 U.S. Special Forces Soldiers
and I was very surprised to find that they thought that
we were loosing over here in Iraq and that it would take,
"10, 20, 30 years until we are done here."
One of the SF soldiers told me that he is
so sick of coming over here that he will do anything when
he gets home just so he doesn't have to come back over here.Even
our most elite troops are seeing the grim reality that we
have here in Iraq. Why can't you see it too America?..Zach
