Standing for Peace
Silent vigil every Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on the sidewalk
at
11th & Congress Ave on the southside of the Capitol.
Moratorium on the
Death Penalty
Members of abolitionist groups hold vigils during the day of each
execution, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., across from the Governor's mansion on
Lavaca Street between 10th and 11th Streets.

This regular weekly event is sponsored by the Houston Coalition for
Justice Not War. At Mecom Fountain, where Montrose Blvd. meets
Main St.. Come when you can -- leave when you want. Candles will be

candlelight vigil to stop the Bush war on Iraq.
